arthritis, ageing and diet
18 months ago I had to stop jogging, and since then have been struggling with stairs - left knee very bad.
Two weeks ago I decided to try eliminating red meat from my diet - now there is no sign of arthritic problems in my knees. White meat (chicken and turkey), free range eggs and white fish don't seem to aggravate arthritis at all.
I'm publishing this in the hope that other people will give it a try.
The NHS rates lean meat as acceptable, but gives no clear guidance on the difference between red meat and white.
